When we got engaged, I was excited to plan a "simple" wedding. Once the ball got rolling, that felt like an impossible task! There seemed to be a thousand questions to answer, venders to call, decisions to make, logistics to figure out, and things to do. I felt completely overwhelmed and totally lost the joy in planning our wedding.

This is where Last Best Weddings stepped in. Dagny met me for coffee, and we talked about the vision for the day, our values, style, and (most importantly to us) our budget. From there on out, she did all the leg work, knew exactly which vendors to call, and how to make the day come together seamlessly. She thought of every blind spot and kept us on track- making sure everything got done at the right pace before before the big day. Creatively, the ideas that came from them were perfectly in line with who Paul and I are. She kept track of every penny spent- and helped us decide where to save and where to splurge. These girls are absolutely pros, and the amount of stress we saved was priceless. 

Our wedding day was so beautiful and more than we could have hoped for. My fiancée walked into the room before the ceremony and started crying on the spot at how beautiful the room was! We came into that day stress free and knew everything was taken care of- because of that, we were able to have a blast and enjoy every moment that day. As cliche as it sounds, it was definitely the best day of our lives!

We have had countless friends and family comment that it was their favorite wedding they've been to so far. I know that if I was left to do it myself, I would have been impossibly stressed leading up to the day, and it wouldn't have been half as incredible. Hiring LBW was the best decision we made. The day of coordination was ESSENTIAL to our joy that day! We were able to be 100% present with our families and friends knowing LBW would make sure everything came together as planned from start to finish- they truly take the reigns on everything! 

In a nutshell- these girls are incredibly talented and fantastic to work with. If you are on the fence- don't think twice. We feel so lucky to have found them, and will continue to encourage our friends to work with them on their big days!!

My fiancé and I had been engaged for about 6 months and had collectively agreed on a destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico rather fast. We currently reside in San Francisco, but are both originally from Denver, CO, and wanted the chance to celebrate our union with our loved ones in our hometown that couldn't make the trek to Mexico. The solution to our dilemma was a Denver Engagement party! Upon deciding to host some 100 guests for a summer engagement party in the mile high city we were faced with various decisions that neither of us had any experience with. Venue, decorations, food, music, photographer, etc... And to make matters worse we don't live in Denver, which made everything that much more difficult. Who better could I ask to help me with such an important task? Dagny! Of course! My fiance and I knew that our good friend, who currently resides in Denver(check), has amazing taste(check), is very assertive(check), and will undoubtedly GET THINGS DONE(CHECK), was the best person for the job. Dagny not only agreed within minutes of me asking her, but she did so with enthusiasm! To say the least our engagement party was perfect! From the chic rustic décor, to the beautiful floral centerpieces, to the party starting DJ, to the festive and delicious desserts, to  our amazing photographer who captured lifelong memories, Dagny delivered one of the most important events in our lives with such beauty and grace. We are forever indebted and forever thankful to her.

Dagny and Liz helped my wife and I plan and execute our engagement party in the Denver Highlands in June 2014. They showed both professionalism and creativity throughout the process and really made hosting a successful event a breeze. As one may or may not expect, it was important to me that my then fiancé and our event planner consult me on as few items as possible and I wasn’t disappointed! But really I was impressed with, as were all our guests, the venue selected in general, and specifically with the decorations, DJ and food/drinks.  Well done ladies! Much appreciated.

Our special day was perfect and it was in large part due to Liz and her crew. Those girls got everything set up and ready for our big day while I was able to hang out with family and friends that traveled into town. I loved all of her ideas, especially the signature drink in mason jars. Those were the guests’ favorite things too I feel like when I should have been stressed out about getting everything put together, I was able to relax and have fun. I did not see the reception area when it was finished until we walked in on Saturday night. The place blew me away! The décor was amazing, and the tables were set up beautifully! A HUGE thank you goes out to Liz and her crew for making our wedding day dreams come true.

If I were to marry my husband all over again, I would hire Liz as my wedding planner. To be blunt: I should know! I photographed Liz's wedding! A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing Liz + Andy's big day so I was able to see it ALL. From the wedding planning to their rehearsal dinner to every last detail of their wedding day, I got a front row seat of her beautiful, thoughtful + unique personal touches. Liz didn't miss a beat with their decor: a bah-jillion romantic candles lining the ceremony aisle, antique multi-colored chairs throughout the reception, a different cake at every single guest table + the list-goes-on-and-on. Here's the thing though...the most important part of her wedding planning wasn't that everything was picture-perfect. It wasn't just another pretty event. It was a FEELING. Liz made sure all of her guests felt comfortable, happy and left that night knowing their love story.

Liz was a joy to work with. She was organized, responded quickly and efficiently to e-mails and was very detailed oriented! I was beyond thrilled when she submitted her wedding (one we worked on together) to Style Me Pretty and was featured on the Northwest blog! It was an honor to work with you Liz!
